The Bachelor of Biblical Studies (BBS) is the beginning of degreed Bible training at Logos Institute of Theology. The BBS degree is designed to equip students to more effectively study the Scriptures and offers training in general studies areas. Students who previously have not completed at least 60 semester hours of college-level work will begin at this level. Students may receive advanced standing in the program through transfer credits and, in instances where the student is well-qualified, through lifetime credits. The program gives the student solid preparation for the Bachelor of Ministry and Bachelor of Theology programs.
Most courses will involve traditional final exams and Internships. The internship includes actual preaching, program coordination, and ministerial service to the community.
Students are required to maintain a 3.0 GPA to advance into the master's programs at LIT.
The Bachelor of Theology (Th.B.) degree provides students an understanding of Theological concepts. This program helps students to apply the Bible training and theological topics into spiritual experiences. Courses include testing and final exams with internships.
The internship includes actual coordination of worship services, education, and administration. This is accomplished in open access, optimal learning environment for students’ educational, cultural, and economic development with ministerial service to the community.
Students are required to maintain a 3.0 GPA to advance into the master's programs at LIT.
The Bachelor of Christian Counseling Christian counselors assist individuals, couples, and families in their time of need. Our program is designed to prepare students who are just starting their education as well as students who are looking to advance their studies through further education. You will be prepared to go on to graduate courses upon the completion of your Bachelor of Science in Christian Counseling. Courses include testing and final exams with internships.
The internship includes counseling sessions, with youth, young adults, and various family situations. This is accomplished in direct access, and development with ministerial service to the community.
Students are required to maintain a 3.0 GPA to advance into the bachelor programs at LIT.
The Bachelors' Degree programs consist of general education courses, program-specific courses, and electives. To qualify for a Bachelor degree, students must complete the minimum number of 60 credit hours required in their programs and earn a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or better in college-level courses, in addition; students must participate in practicum services and community outreach as outlined in the course requirements along with meeting other graduating requirements.
